Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Treksadvisor, we understand that unforeseen circumstances can disrupt your plans, causing disappointment and inconvenience. Therefore, we have carefully formulated our cancellation policy to prioritize fairness and flexibility for our valued adventurers.

Effective from January 1st, 2024, our cancellation policy aims to accommodate various situations with the following provisions:

Partial Payment Cancellation:
Should you need to cancel after making a partial payment, you will receive a 50% refund to your original payment method if canceled 45 days prior to departure. Alternatively, a 100% Trek Voucher will be issued. No refunds are available within 45 days of Trek Starting.

Voucher Usage:
If you used a voucher to register for the trek and decide to cancel, the same cancellation policy applies. Any remaining balance in your voucher after deduction of cancellation charges will be reissued as a new voucher, maintaining its original validity.

Friend Transfer:
You may transfer your trek to a friend who meets all prerequisites outlined by Trek Advisor. However, once transferred, no refunds or vouchers are permitted in case of future cancellation.

Trekker Disqualification:
In cases where a trekker must descend from a trek due to health concerns, non-compliance with trek rules, or personal reasons, no refunds or vouchers will be issued. The safety and integrity of the trek experience are of utmost importance.

Trek Advisor’s Responsibility:
Should Trek Advisor need to cancel a trek due to unforeseen circumstances such as extreme weather conditions, natural disasters, or government directives, alternative trek options will be provided as a first recourse. Any cost differences will be adjusted via vouchers or payments.

Flexibility and Adaptability:
Please understand that changes to treks or itineraries may occur due to factors beyond our control. Your understanding and cooperation are appreciated in such situations.

Trek Advisor’s Authority:
We reserve the right to modify or cancel policies without prior notice to ensure the best experience for all participants. Additionally, we reserve the right to accept or decline any individual as a trip member, prioritizing group safety and enjoyment.

Your Trek Voucher:
Rest assured, your trek voucher is a valuable asset valid for a lifetime, transferable, and redeemable across any of our treks. It ensures that your adventure aspirations remain attainable regardless of circumstances.
