The bakery near the monastery is famous. Eating a cinnamon roll while watching monks pray is a unique experience. It fuels you for the descent to Deboche on your Mount Everest expedition route.
Even in Dingboche (4,410m), you can find fresh cake. These high-altitude bakers use pressure cookers and ovens to defy physics. The cakes are denser but delicious after a long hike.
