PEAK

Mera Peak (6,461 m) is Nepal’s highest permitted trekking peak and one of the most spectacular yet accessible Himalayan summits. Far from the crowded Everest trails, this classic expedition takes you through pristine Sherpa villages, rhododendron forests, and the wild Hinku Valley south of Everest. The non-technical climb (Alpine Grade PD) rewards you with an unrivalled 360° panorama of five 8,000 m giants: Everest, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Makalu, and Kanchenjunga, making it the perfect stepping stone for aspiring 7,000 m and 8,000 m climbers.

The 18-day journey begins with a thrilling flight to Lukla, crosses the high Zatrwa La Pass (4,610 m), and follows a carefully planned acclimatisation schedule with tented camps and full-board meals. Professional climbing Sherpas (1:3 ratio on summit day), comprehensive pre-climb training in Khare, and a built-in contingency day ensure one of the highest success rates in the region (over 90%). Spring (March–May) and Autumn (September–November) offer the clearest skies and most stable conditions.

Ideal for fit trekkers seeking a true expedition experience without extreme technical difficulty, Mera Peak combines physical challenge with jaw-dropping scenery in one of Nepal’s most remote and beautiful corners. Previous high-altitude trekking is recommended but not mandatory; full climbing gear and emergency oxygen are provided. Book early for 2026 – limited permits and the best guaranteed price!
